our story
At Rung Florals, we believe color is more than just a visual experience—it’s a feeling. The word “Rung,” meaning “color” in Urdu, is a tribute to our founder Ayesha Mukadam’s South Asian heritage and a reflection of the joy and vibrancy she aspires to bring to the world through flowers.
Each bouquet we design is a love letter to joy. We work closely with local farmers and small businesses to support sustainable practices and build community. Our arrangements are more than florals—they are expressions of emotion, memory, and artistry meant to uplift and inspire.

To me, growing up, color was synonymous with happiness, warmth, and the boundless magic of creativity. From summer days spent decorating every corner of my childhood home to building whimsical dreamlands for my dolls, I always knew creativity was my calling.
As a child, flowers fascinated me—not just for their beauty, but for how they made me feel: alive, inspired, and full of joy. That passion stayed with me through life. While earning my MBA, I began to blend my love of design with the business acumen needed to create something meaningful. And so, Rung Florals was born—a manifestation of color, celebration, and soul.
